Food, Wine & Olive Oil Tasting @ Lavandou Restaurant!

      This is a great weekend event in the afternoon from 2-4 PM. at Lavandour restaurant @ 3321 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. for $45 a person.

     This is what you get that's UNIQUE :

       1) Taste 5 olive oils from Sicily, Italy, Catelonia, Spain: Provence, France & Chile. Wow! And you get to do it with a bonafied oliveoil-specialista, Bill Sanders.
            Bill is here right now as I type and he tells me now that there will also be a tasting of balsamic vinegar from Italy and Chile.
            AND : We will also taste and learn about a couple of salts from the coast of France, Fleur de Lis ...  wow, wow, wow :
                       Here's a way to learn, to sample, to compare and to buy gifts for yourselves and others for the holidays. Nice.
       2) Taste 5 wines from the Robert Kacher portfolio of South of France reds(2 ), roses(1) and whites (2). We picked these with the idea of what would taste good, shows well now and will complement the foods we enjoy at this time of the year with the cold setting in.
       3) 5 Tapas, too .... wow, could we ask for anything more?!?!
       4)  Antoine Songy ( president of the Robert Kacher Selections will be on hand alobg with Bill Sanders ( Crush and Press ) and owner of Lavandou, Florence Develliers. What a team : and Tony Quinn might even come ( me ) from Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits.
